Victorian Collar - Ruffled Neckwarmer
Beautiful, ellegant goth and very fashionable collar. Created with nuno felting shibori technique and made of finest merino wool fibers and chifon silk.
Wool that I used in this piece comes in many red shades, going to a subtle purple. It is layed on black-grey silk chiffon and gathered to create unique, soft garment that adornes neck very close, but not tightly.
Chiffon ruffles are very rich, 2 meters of chiffon is actually used.
Item is very soft, warm and feminine.
Silk is closest to neck, so no worry the wool will 'bite'. Collar is closed with three french hooks at the back. But the back can be also be worn as front.
Collar is 41 cm long (16") and 31 cm (12..2") high.
