Spider's Eye Silk Shawl
Silk shawl hand painted in ashy purples, combined with whites and black spider web to create darkly macabre fashion statement.
I was always afraid of spiders, and idea of their clustered eyes makes them even more terrifying, so that was basically my inspiration. A huge eye, as a diverse symbol of light, control, painting and fear, is one of my most cherished ones and combined with elegant spider web makes this shawl naturally one of my favorite creations.
Edges are hand rolled and silk is lightweight and semi-sheer (pongee 05).
I used high quality dyes and steam fixed them, so with proper care this shawl could last forever.
